Has face to face conversations or conversations over the phone been replaced by texting, facebook, twitter, ect?

I use to love to call my friends but more recently I feel more comfortable with texting them or sending them a message on facebook. This has happened to many others as well and I wonder why because it is a lot easier to just simply have a conversation with someone on the phone or in person than having to write out everything you want to say to them. Also talking to someone prevents a lot of misunderstandings which often come out of texts or messages.

Is age really just a number?

When I see a fifteen year old with a nineteen year old I think to myself what could they have in common? Normally a teen at the age of fifteen should be in the tenth grade and someone who is nineteen should be out of high school and in college or have a job. Also someone who is nineteen should be way more mature than your average fifteen year old. This of course means that the nineteen year old will have a huge influence on that fifteen year's old's decisions and if they so choose take advantage of that fifteen year old. Basically a fifteen and a nineteen year old are not on the same playing field which means it wouldn't make sense for them to date.

Do looks matter when it comes to love?

As much as i would like to believe that the average person could just fall in love with someone based completely on who the person was "on the inside" and that their looks really didn't matte that idea in our society unfortunately is seriously unrealistic because it is projected by the media (that we as consumers have given in to) that everyone needs to be a size zero and be blemish free. Anyway the point I'm trying to make simply is that a person shouldn't decide who there going to be in a relationship with based on looks, not that we should purpose to find someone that we're not attracted to physically but if we end up falling in love with someone who isn't our "type" we shouldn't turn them away.

Do you think teenagers can truly fall in love?

I've asked myself the same question over and over again, you're probably wondering what that questions is. Well of course you're not really wondering because you already read the title but just humor me okay? So anyway back to what I was saying. I ask myself can teenagers fall in love? and I don't mean I love Joe this week and Mike the next, but true for real love. The kind of love where you would do absolutely anything for the person, you think about them and what they want and need before you give one thought about yourself. The kind of love were you'd sacrifice your life for their life without giving a second thought. Know you tell me honestly and objectively, do you think teenagers can fall in love?

Why can't we be friends?

High school has given me a crash course in the world of cliques. Even as small as my school (I go to a school with other home schoolers in case you were curious) is I still cannot escape these dreaded social hazards. I cannot stand cliques and never have been able to, because they are self absorbed and arrogant. They are designed to boost the peoples confidence that that particular clique think are good enough to be apart of their group and make the rest of us feel like nobodies. So I ask to all the high schoolers, college students, and adults in the real world why are we so cliquey?

Love,love,and more Love

Who doesn't love a good love song? but in today society there is too much of a good thing. There are so many more things there is to write about than just love such as politics, inspirational, and about music itself. Love songs seem to be a subject that singers and songwriters focus on so much because their audience is super focused on this subject. I think instead they should try thinking outside of the box as some artists do such as Erykah Badu, India Arie, and Raheem DeVaughn who write songs that are much deeper and thought provoking than who broke up with you this week and how you'll never find someone as great as the person you loved again. However they still do sing and write about love songs but they do not over do it.

What were your favorite shows when you were a child?

Lately I've been thinking about the great shows I grew up watching like Doug, Arthur, As Told By Ginger, Hey Arnold! which was my favorite and so many others that it's impossible to remember them all. Today many of those good shows have been replaced by dumb and many times inappropriate ones. I wish so badly that those great shows would be brought back. There still however, are a few good children's shows left. Such as Sonny with a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Phineas and Ferb. What were some of your favorites?

Why do most people feel like they need a boyfriend/girlfriend in higschool?

In today's society there is a big emphasis on being in a relationship and if your not in one something must be wrong with you. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend seems to be more of the thing to do instead of being in a relationship because you truly care about that person. This just makes life in high-school a lot more complicated and difficult. Often these relationships end and the former couple no longer even want to be friends. There is a simple fix to this problem though, which is not to obligate yourself to one person but to date whomever you like with no strings attached that way at the end of the day there will be no hurt feelings and everyone can walk away as friends.
